Technical Consultant – Call Centers

This position will require a varied technical background in the communications and call center industries, to help you in providing specific solutions for the needs of our clients. As you have excellent communication and interfacing skills, these attributes will help you in managing the full lifecycle of our clients’ implementation, development and configuration needs. You will be a part of a team of professionals with an international software company in a high-growth industry, that play a key role in implementing solutions and delivering quality results.


Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of full lifecycle management for client implementations, such as requirements gathering, business analysis, system configuration, design, testing, and support.
    work with rest of team to create design specifications.
  • Develop solutions that extend the core applications to implement client-specific interfaces, workflows, reports and analytics.
  • Learn the application to the point of understanding its capabilities and limitations, and to use this knowledge to provide features to meet clients’ needs.
  • Interact with clients to analyze business requirements and design appropriate solutions.
  • From a technical perspective to provide guidance and advice to clients on issues of performance and scalability.
  • Understanding of basic database concepts: normalization, constraints, indexes, triggers, and basic syntax
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Degree/diploma in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Mathematics
  • Team player and results oriented
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills are a MUST
  • Experience in Call Center field a plus

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of project related experience in a consulting environment.
  • Call Center systems experience required.
  • Proven background in writing requirements and design specifications.
  • Exposure to all phases of software development including analysis and design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience with client-based enterprise implementations and n-tier web application architecture.
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly and learn predefined methods for extending the application functions and customizing the environment to meet specific client needs.
  • Understanding of basic database concepts: normalization, constraints, indexes, triggers, and basic syntax.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve.
  • Consulting experience.
  • Degree/diploma in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Mathematics.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with Java-based technologies (J2EE, JSP, JDBC), database technologies, (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle) and application servers, (Oracle 9iAS, BEA Weblogic, IBM WebSphere).
